Evolution of a list: Grey Hunters V Blood claws.

Hi, today I wanted to talk about blood claw and grey hunter unit set ups.

I currently intend to run 9 blood clwas with flamer, power fist and wolf guard with TH/SS and 2x 9 grey hunters with melta gun, mark of the wulfen and wolf guard with power fist. Blood claws pod. I could swap 1 unit of hunters for some more claws though. Ehat do you think?

Evoloution of a list: How do you go about it.

When building a list I bear certain things in mind, here they are in steps:

1. The theme for the list (eg. Ragnar blackmane or mech marines or mortar gunline guard).
2. Style of list (eg. drop pods, flamers, meltaguns).
3. Tactics (eg. Drop down and then suicide attack or play conservatively before a last turn objective grab).
4. Depending on style either HQ or troops, for me generally HQ
5. Elites.
6. The other one out of HQ and Troops.
7. Anything else.
8. Tot up points.
9. Get list under the points limit.
10. look at list as a whole.
11. 
    
    Make any ammendmants.
    
    
    

Now, you may write lists differently or tghink my way is not very effective. So, tell us what you do and what you think of what I do!

Evolution of a list pt1: My starting Space Wolf list.

Hi, here is my list at the moment, it is over 1500 points which is the standard level for my group, more on that later. here is my list:

It is a tad over 1500 so I would probably lose the plas pistol but the model has one. I doesn't matter too much as my gaming group is not that strict. Please tell us what you think.
